Re-cap of last nigth show w/ Coach Cobleigh!!!!

Tonight show was a treat. Coach Cobleigh talked about his passing concepts in his Hybrid Wing T system. He talked about two bunch passing concepts that allow you to attack loaded boxes. The one thing I came away with after doing this inteview was his mindset when it came to moving the ball. He used a system "Wing T" and added his passing concept to enhance his attack on the field. His pass 1st to set up the run put the teams he face in conflict and keep them off balanced. The other thing I liked about his attack is that you can use this concept with any system you run. The use of formations along with motion allow to keep the chains moving and defensive coaches pulling their hair out. His CFC system is also a nice add to any coach tool box. He will be one of the guest on the next round table and a must to listen to if you missed it.

Coach Loose break down zone blitzing from mulitple fronts!!!!!

John Loose is in his 10th season as Lafayette's defensive coordinator and has been with Frank Tavani for his entire tenure as head coach. It is no coincidence that during that time, Lafayette has featured a dominant defense under his inventive direction, a corps that consistently ranks in the top 20 statistically. Positionally, Loose will take over coaching the linebackers in 2009, previously focusing on the defensive backs. He will look to team captain and Patriot League Preseason Defensive Player of the Year Mark Leggiero to head that group.

Loose is coming off a 2008 season when he selected as the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Assistant Coach of the Year for his work on the gridiron and his dedication to Lauren's First and Goal Foundation, an organization he started in 2004 to raise money for pediatric brain tumor research. His work with Lauren's First and Goal has generated over $750,000 dollars and blossomed into one of the largest one-day football clinics in the country.

Coach Loose will talk about his zone blitz defensive scheme that has locked down some of the best schools in his area. Please tune in to this defensive inservice brought to you by the best online youth football radio show....The Red Zone Show!!! New day for this week. Show will air Wednesday 9PM EST.
